SIR - My wife and I are researching her family history.
We are interested in finding anyone in the Worcester area who may be able to help us.
We are wanting to trace any descendants of a Walter Charles Hampton. He was born in Worcester in 1888 to Charles and Selina (Lena) Hampton. His mother's maiden name was Deakin.
He is listed in the 1891 census as living, aged three years, at 90 Aston Field, Stoke Prior, Worcester.
The 1901 census has him living at 67 Davidson Street, Gateshead, County Durham.
One of his siblings was Alick Hampton, my wife's late father.
He told her that Charles Walter Hampton returned to Worcester as an adult and as far as we know he remained there for the rest of his life.
Should anyone know of this person we would like to hear from them.
