SIR - I have just spent a few days in Worcestershire Royal Hospital on Lavender Ward and must praise all the nurses, doctors and rest of the staff for their care and kindness during my stay.
To watch a young male nurse sit and hold hands with an elderly lady and encourage her to eat was unbelievable and something I haven't heard of for a very long time.
No complaints about the food which was excellent and plentiful after all the awful reports I had heard prior to going into hospital.
A big thank you to all for making my stay a pleasant one.
