SIR - May I congratulate and thank the Spring Gardens Medical Practice for the efficient and caring way their annual flu jab is organised.
Each patient is given an appointment time and upon arrival is directed to a specific waiting area. (Various coloured chairs are used for the different nurses).
Waiting times are very short and after having had the injection patients are asked to go to another room where tea, coffee, biscuits (and cakes!) are served by volunteers.
Donations for the refreshments are for a particular charity - this year it was St Richard's Hospice.
Full marks to Spring Gardens' staff. For many years I have had first class service from doctors, nurses and receptionists. Thank you!
