Sir, Councillor Oborski's opposition to politicising sport (WN & Shuttle 23rd Oct 2014) lasted even less long than most Liberal principles.

Doubtless, she will now eat her words? Only recently she objected most strongly to the presence of a UKIP banner at the same football ground:

Writing to her friends in the Labour Party on Nov 1st, she stated: " As a personal player and match sponsor I totally agree with you on Political advertising.

I ... also refused to have a Wyre Forest Liberal Party sign."

How worthless her words now, as she turns on a sixpence to benefit herself, now that she has her own Liberal banner at Aggborough. Perhaps she has been a Councillor so long she thinks her electorate can't tell hypocrisy when they see it?

Commissar Oborski's unprincipled volte-face also comes on the heels of her misuse of her role as Polish Consul. On 21st October she tweeted to Councillor Sewell that she had "complained as Polish Consul" about UKIP's banner at Aggborough.

How is it that as the Consul of a foreign power, she can interfere in the internal affairs of our nation in this way? How many British Consuls abroad interfere in the election processes of foreign countries? Who does she really represent and speak for here - her electorate or Poland?

Clearly, whether from behind her two-faced Liberal mask or speaking on behalf of a foreign power, she does not put the interests of the British people first.
