SIR, What utter cobblers "Lowesmoor air pollution control" is, such measures amount to less than a pinprick on an elephant's backside! They aren't controlling pollution; they're just moving it elsewhere.

Isn't Europe demanding cuts in vehicular pollution because our nitrogen dioxide pollution is illegally high? Isn't there talk of banning diesel engines, because of the nitrogen dioxide they produce, as well as diesel engines being responsible (in the main) for the 600,000 adults and children who suffer from "Autism spectrum disorder," which current research suggest comes from pregnant women being exposed to the soot from diesel engine exhausts?

It doesn't surprise me we are in trouble with air pollution, I've written on the subject before. Look out across Worcester and you immediately see Worcester lies beneath a fog of pollution.

If Lowesmoor's air pollution is so bad why are our councillors and MPs going to double local air pollution, by building another 30,000 houses here, adding another 250,000 car journeys a day to our roads?

Why should we spend our lives living in a thickening cloud of vehicle exhaust pollution, so the rich in the City of London can continue to pocket their corporate bonuses, from the concreting over of Worcestershire's countryside?
