Were you a canal zoner?
SIR - The canal zoners is a nationwide organisation for former servicemen who served in the Suez Canal zone, Egypt.
The Worcestershire branch meet every third Wednesday of the month at the former British Legion Club, Salwarpe Road, Droitwich Spa.
It's a social gathering where we reminisce about our time spent in Egypt, we also have guest speakers and go out for meals.
I know we are all in our twilight years but this is an opportunity to get out and socialise. Your partners are also welcome to come along. Good quality basket meals are available.
