Sir- About five weeks ago I noticed water bubbling into the Corn Market, behind Old St. Martins Church.
A fortnight ago I rang Severn Trent Water to report it. somebody in Coventry answered the phone and took the message.
So I was very surprised when I went into Worcester today to see that the water is still pouring along The Corn Market!!! A traffic Cone had been put over the hole but had fallen in.
No wonder that the price of water keeps going up.
Also instead of building a floral walkway in the sky, the money would be better spent, planting flowers along the riverside and in the middle of the city Walls Rd. like they used to, to welcome visitors.
We have visited a lot of neighbouring Towns and all Welcome us with Flowers, but sadly not Worcester.
Mrs. Wendy Turberfield
Worcester.
