Sir - I think it is nothing short of a disgrace that the planners are actually considering building a football arena on such a beautiful site used by many.

It is not surprising that 700 are in favour as this is the clubs main support base and possible attendance figure.

No one has even considered the impact this will have on disabled users of the area, this being the only flat grassed recreation land in the area.

Furthermore it is not just the main stadium other areas will be fenced off preventing the use of most of the land.

This ground was once used by the RAF to train pilots who intern fought and died to protect our freedom , so why is this facility being built for the few at the cost of so many.
