Sir - I watched Labour's party political broadcast this evening, and almost laughed out loud when they reeled off their promises about the NHS which, as we all know, Ed Miliband instructed his members to "weaponise".

20,000 extra nurses (one wonders how many will speak English?), 10,000 extra GPs, 5,000 new care workers, and nobody will have to wait more than a week between being tested for cancer, and being told the results. Anyone else spot the flaw in this promise?

Okay, well let me help out. Given that like Tony Blair, the Labour, Conservative, and Lib Dem parties have consistently denied the people they purport to represent any say on the EU experiment, and the fact that they have agreed to completely open our country's borders to eastern Europe, the numbers using our NHS, and the costs of it, continue to spiral out of control.

In addition, the NHS is leaking the staff it has invested huge sums of money and time training, to countries like Australia, where they are paid more whilst working fewer hours.

So what Labour propose will amount to nothing more than the hapless British taxpayer being compelled to continue fund the health of eastern Europe. Perhaps Labour will propose changing the name of the NHS to the IHS (International Health Service)?
