SIR - Has any reader ever fancied going to Normandy for the D-Day commemorations or to see where the First World War was fought? Battlefield Memorial Tours are a voluntary and charitable supporting organisation set-up to continue the work of the late Alex Bulloch MBE. Our prices are very competitive, include all hotel and evening meal charges and we travel via the Channel Tunnel during daylight hours. Personal military graves may be visited by prior arrangement.

We offer the following based upon two persons sharing, all are five day trips, unless stated otherwise. Normandy – D-Day (4 - 8 June £395) or a trip to the battlefields of WW1 (9 - 13 July £399) or a 6 day visit to the beautiful areas of Arnhem in the Netherlands (16 - 21 Sept £499) where we shall also visit museums, Guy Gibson’s and other dambuster graves, as well as attending the weekend Arnhem commemorations and seeing the areas where the Rhine was crossed in March 1945. For Armistice in November we have a short trip to Ypres & Dunkirk (3 days 10 – 12 Nov £255)
