Sir - My Mum was taken into Worcestershire Royal Hospital on March 14th and spent 3 weeks on Avon 2 (an experience neither my Mum or I would like to repeat).

On Good Friday she was taken to Unit 2 of the Timberdine Care and Rehabilitation Centre, in Timberdine Avenue, Worcester. She spent five weeks there.

I had been told that if I could get my mum in anywhere after hospital, the best place would be the Timberdine, and my God they were right!!.

From the minute we got there to the minute we left (with tears in our eyes) nothing was too much trouble.

From the manager Gill, the Matron Julie and the Senior Sister Karen to the cleaners...they were all amazing.

Every carer was always happy, the agency staff especially Delia who I will be forever grateful to went out of their way to ensure my Mum was comfortable and looked after.

I had a big cake made with thank you on and cards done for certain members of the team but that doesn’t seem enough to express my gratitude so I wondered if you would be kind enough to print this and then hopefully if ever anyone had an elderly relative that needed care before going home, they would push for them to be looked after by the wonderful team at the Timberdine Care and Rehabilitation Centre.

Thank you

Kim Bishopp
