IN response to letters and an article concerning proposed developments (Swimming pool and football stadium) on Perdiswell, I write to correct a popular misconception.
The developments proposed are in Claines Ward. Not St Stephens. The boundary between the two wards runs up the middle of Bilford Road, then along the middle of the canal.
It is true that most of the residents affected live in St Stephens ward - on the other side of Bilford Road and the canal, so St Stephens residents and their councillors have a very real interest.
But the proposals are in Claines, and should be identified as such by correct location in the planning system.
