SIR - What a delightful montage of Worcester clocks the Worcester News gave us on September 5.

Amongst them was the old Midland Red clock in Angel Place.

It must feel very lonely languishing there, not having seen a bus for many a long year.

It must be at least eight years since I wrote to the then Evening News asking why this clock could not be moved to CrownGate back among the buses. But it would appear no one is interested in Worcester's - heritage - of which this is a part. I assume that it now belongs to First, whatever that means, but I very much doubt if it is interested.

Surely there must be someone out there with an interest in the city and its past who could take up the cudgel to get it moved, or, if I'm around, will I be writing again in another eight years?

EF SHOWELL, Fernhill Heath, Worcester.
