SIR - In a recent letter from George Cowley, asking why Frank Poole has a go at John Phillpott, it's because although they are two Ps' they are at opposite ends of the pod.
John is a dyed in the wool Tory and Frank is a dyed in the wool Socialist.
Now, like you George, I like reading Phillpott's column, but like Frank I don't like his brand of politics. To John, you can't please them all of the time but keep on writing. George and I enjoy reading your column.
