SIR - As an ex-serviceman I feel duty bound to highlight the Royal British Legion's Honour the Covenant campaign.
Basically the legion (and I) believe that the present Government has let our troops down and broken the long-standing covenant to our troops.
I would urge all citizens to write to their MP and urge him/her to press the Government to honour the covenant. Our troops and their families are suffering because of this. For further information go to www.thecovenant.org.uk BILL DAVISON, St John's, Worcester.
