SIR - So Worcester City Council and Malvern Hills District Council are putting plans together to merge. It just about sums up the two half-baked organisations to consider such thing.
With the populations of both areas growing they should be thinking individually and locally how to cater for this and the people.
With both these operations working together I can see it now - a public transport system and a refuse-come-recycling operation that will be the laughing stock of the UK. Parking charges high enough to put another bank under.
To put both Worcester's Heath Robinson miss-mash planning department and Malvern's complete lack of planning, unless it's a supermarket', together is a recipe for an area people will not want to visit.
