It is disappointing, but not surprising, to see that Ombersley Court is to be a palace of entertainment.
As this is the last thing he wanted, the late Lord Sandys will be spinning in his grave.
In his will he specifically instructed that the property should go to the Ombersley Conservation Trust.
This body, for no good reason, shirked its responsibilities.
Also, it refused to allow any other charity to take them on.
The Ombersley Conservation Trust has a lot to answer for.
