SIR – Thank you for bringing to the attention of readers the fact that complaints against Worcestershire county councillors are judged by Worcestershire County Council.
How surprising that they found their colleagues not guilty of complaints on the process of granting planning permission for the Envirosort plant in the middle of villages at Norton.
The councillors who judged their colleagues had no case to answer on charges of bringing their office into disrepute.
Councillor Andy Fry is quoted as saying: “I was pleased to see we take everything very seriously.
I think we gave the correct answer.”
What a load of nonsense!
Chris Morag is to be admired for her tenacity in trying to expose the inner workings of the council but the poor taxpayer will never win against the proud minds at County Hall.
