SIR – By coincidence you recently published my letter about how and where to die. Not in hospital. And certainly not in agony.
Given the latest developments about assisted suicide, readers might wish to look at two conflicting websites: Dignity in Dying (to which I belong) and its opposite, Care not Killing.
They are: dignityindying.org.uk/ carenotkilling.org.uk/ We all have to decide our own view. I know mine, and I have ensured everyone in my family and medical circles have been told that I wish to die rather than terminally suffer. I have signed and sent the advanced directives that are available.
It is not an easy decision. But it is one that must be taken.
Luke Albarin,
Worcester.
