What about these amazing acts?

SIR – What a shame that your excellent report on Worcester Music Festival (Worcester News August 24) – featuring more than 140 local artists – was accompanied by a review of a concert that had absolutely nothing to do with the WMF and its aim of promoting lively, fresh, original and most importantly local music.

A pity that instead of a review of an American 35 years past his sell-by date you couldn’t feature one of the amazing (and free!) performances of the WMF weekend such as The Dastards, Crooked Empire, Highway Five or the truly emotional return gig of The Atats – let alone the final-ever appearance from Worcester’s own original clatterpoppers And What Will Be Left Of Them?

Andy O’Hare,
