SIR – I note with interest that the county council has decided to hold a “public” meeting to discuss their proposed cuts of £45 million.
Strange though, that they have chosen to hold the meeting at 10am on a Wednesday morning when most taxpaying voters are at work.
Could it be that they don’t really want our analysis of their suggested areas for budget restrictions?

Worcester.
