SIR – Having recently been in Worcestershire Royal Hospital for a much-needed operation, I would like to say a big thank you to all the doctors, nurses and healthcare workers on Lavender gynaecology unit. I found everyone so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was kept beautifully clean and, although not having much of an appetite, the food was very tasty and varied. There is so much criticism of our hospitals that I felt compelled to redress the balance a little by telling of my very positive experience staying in the hospital.
