SIR – Lauren Roger’s article on Britain’s best boss brought back memories of when my wife and I attended the audiology department at the old Royal Infirmary in Castle Street, Worcester. We were both highly impressed by the kindness, understanding and ability of Debbie Hinton, the boss.
She is still in that position, responsible for the whole county. Her personality now shows in the expertise of all her staff, some of whom have nominated Debbie for the national boss of the year.
Good luck, Debbie, at the ceremony at the BT Tower in London on Thursday, November 26.
