SIR – May I comment on your report (October 12) regarding Upton’s Mercia Inshore search and rescue.
I previously expressed views which where highly critical of MISAR. It would seem that little has changed. I fear I must also raise an eyebrow when I consider the claim that it rescued 67 people.
