SIR – Surely the media and political classes in Britain can challenge the growth of the BNP quite easily. They can stop diddling us and misleading us and turn their attention to tackling the issues of mass immigration and over-population in a spirit of honesty, frankness and openness after years of lying to us and calling us names. Once ordinary people begin to sense that our mainstream political parties and broadcasters are serious about dealing effectively, fairly and rationally with those issues there will be no need for the BNP.
