SIR – On Friday, November 6, I had a serious fall outside Marks & Spencer in the Shambles. Unfortunately this left me with a severely damaged face and a broken arm.
First and foremost, I would like to thank all those who came to my aid after I fell. They were unbelievably helpful and it really has kept my faith in the human race alive, so thank you.
My thanks are especially extended to the staff at Marks & Spencer who were so kind and attentive to me until the ambulance arrived. I would also like to thank the lady who lent her mobile phone in order for the ambulance to be called and my family contacted. I did not get her name but I cannot thank her enough.
