SIR - I am not sure how long ago it was, but the Queen stopped off in Worcester. She paid a visit to Royal Worcester Porcelain factory where my son Keith worked and I believe he met her.
A man stood just in front of me with a Union Jack cap and shirt on. He gave me a bunch of flowers and told me to take his place. The street in those days I believe was called Silver Street. I gave the flowers to the Queen and she took them, then handed them to her lady-in-waiting.
MRS I CHAMBERS,
Worcester.
