SIR - Councillor Mike Layland said on local radio that candidates who stood in the local elections should put people before politics and listen to the man in the street.
Quite rightly so, councillor, and we would like you to hear us, but as many councillors never bother to knock our doors in the run-up to local elections how can you listen to us?
