SIR - I read that missed appointments in Worcestershire hospitals are costing the NHS trust £3.7m pounds.
I am receiving treatment at Kidderminster Hospital. Two days before my appointment, I get a phone call from the hospital, usually early evening, to remind me of the appointment, and to find out if I will be keeping it.
Surely all hospitals could do this and it wouldn't cost anywhere near £3.7 million pounds?
SHIRLEY GANDY,
