SIR - I was disgusted to read that police in Worcester are pouring away a high-value amount of alcohol. Surely in this era of under-funded services in all public sectors, the alcohol collected should have been put back on sale and the funds used to perhaps finance an alcohol awareness program for underage people in the city, teaching the dangers and health risks associated with alcohol?
