SIR -- The BNP supports the Home Secretary's criticism of the sentence handed down to a paedophile attacker.
John Reid described the five-year sentence given to 24-year-old Craig Sweeney as "unduly lenient". The pervert abducted and sexually assaulted a three-year-old from Cardiff earlier this year. He drove her to his Newport flat where he was living after being released early from a three-year sentence for indecently assaulting a girl aged six. The licence on which he had been granted early release from a jail term for indecently assaulting a six-year-old girl, had expired two days before. I have started up a petition to introduce Sarah's Law, giving parents the right to know where released paedophiles are living in their area. Offenders cannot be 'reformed', they must be locked up or chemically castrated.
