SIR – I do not believe in good or bad luck. Consequently, I do not hold with Luke Fisher’s theory that his angel tattoo saved his life from a car crash, resulting in his neck being broken in three places.
I sincerely hope, though, that Luke is restored to fitness so that he can realise his ambition to join the Army. I also hope Nick Fletcher, who completed the tattoo, will benefit from the publicity.
As for myself, I will never have a tattoo.
