SIR – Don’t ram your factory formed bacon butty down my throat, Jon Burgess.

The chances are the back came from Denmark or Poland.

You can eat it if you like, I’ll have a veggie burger.

I repeat, if you respect animals then contact Hillside Animal Sanctuary or Viva and you will find the truth about RSPCA Freedom Farms.

Don’t just take my word for it, Joanna Lumley, Sir Paul McCartney, Twiggy and Tony Benn all think as I do.

What we eat should be our own choice, but spare some thought for how the animals are treated before you eat them.

I buy only british bacon not danish or polish.
Like John Burgess I make up my own mind what I am going to eat and expect others to do the same.
I don't try and tell you what to eat so why do you insist on telling me what I should eat?
Joanna Lumley, Sir Paul McCartney, Twiggy and Tony Benn, why should I pay any special attention to their views?

Can any of the above posters actually be specific and say when anyone has tried to change by force their, or anyone elses, diet? If posters do not like the subject then it is a free country and they do not have to take part in the debate. But please, if you have nothing sensible to say, do not rubbish others right to enter into mature discussion.

I decide what I want to eat.
If you want to be vegetarian or vegan that is your decision which I respect. Please respect my decision to be omnivorous.
