SIR – Regarding your letters from readers about Councillor Derek Prodger.
Although I strongly disagree with many of his ideas for Worcester – in particular the Rapid Bus Passage for St John’s – I have recently been in telephone conversation with him over a problem with car transporters in Watery Lane. I am very impressed with the quick action he has put in progress with the authority concerned to remove this problem, one hopes for good.
In response to readers regarding a one-way system for Watery Lane, this was considered a few years ago and found unworkable.
