SIR – With regard to the letter ‘Why did they have to go to a zoo’ from Pauline Burgess (September 18).
My reply is “why not?”. When was the last time that Ms Burgess went to a zoo? No doubt not for a long time, if ever.
I’m not going to bash on about one-sided animal welfare issues as she does, but the Animal Welfare Act 2005 says it all.
