Sir – Why are we devising a system of bus lanes around such large old diesel buses when we had trams more than 100 years ago?
And why have we got lines of diesel taxis clogging up our city centre, also with their engines running?
Use the bus lanes for rickshaws and cycles and let’s face the fact that we are now a Third World country for goodness sake!
Yes, compared with most modern European cities Worcester is a long way behind.
It’s underfunded, disorganised and in the hands of profiteers who don’t seem to have any interest in sorting the mess out properly (possibly because they gain while things remain as they are?).
If this is free enterprise, Worcester, you can stuff it!
