Her comments regarding reckless fishermen are spot on. They never alter their selfish ways and are not interested in the safety of the swans and most certainly not interested in cleaning up their rubbish.
And as for the comments of your angling columnist Alf Hand regarding no fishermen being around these days, what a joke.
It is packed with fishermen all along the full length of the riverbank next to Worcester Racecourse and I constantly fill up black bags with their rubbish and fishing lines left behind.
