SIR – Please could we draw a line under John Burgess’s opinions on the pros and cons of hunting.

As I am sure like myself, most readers have heard quite enough of the subject.

If we didn't allow any more letters because someone was fed up of the particular correspondent people like George Cowlley would have long since ceased to feature in the pages of WN.
Long may letters from John Burgess continue to be published.

Well said New Kid. I'm very pro hunting and country sports etc but I defend the right of any anti-hunting correspondents to have their say.
