SIR, I totally agree with Rosa Tarry (Worcester News, April 17).
The Grand National should be banned, also the Derby. It is totally cruel for horses and far too long, four-and-a-half miles, especially if it’s hot.
It’s all about money, not the horses’ welfare. I’m all for banning horse racing whatever the occasion.
