SIR – I have been told that the Hindlip sports development has been shelved for the foreseeable future. Why is this?
Worcester sports are crying out for new facilities and Hon Yoso Kai Karate School, which currently has six students selected to represent Wadokai England in the Federation of European Wadokai Championships in Lisbon in October, has to book school halls to put on the classes it needs.
The club, which currently has more than 80 full members and is growing month by month, cannot find a suitable home venue.
How can there be any opposition to building this much-needed new facility?
