SIR – Once again we as a nation are humiliated by the EU and human rights courts.

The dreaded Human Rights Act has again reared its ugly head when Europe’s top judges banned Britain from deporting two Somalians, whose crimes included threats to kill, drug dealing and burglary.

They even ordered us to pay them £20,000 in costs. It sounds unbelievable but it is very true.

This ruling will be a boost to another 214 Somalians resisting deportation, and hundreds of other foreign criminals who will voice the same line that that they face ill-treatment if sent back home.

But what of the human rights of the victims of these crimes?

David Cameron promised to reform this Act, but won’t to avoid upsetting Nick Clegg.

It will once again be the taxpayer, and the victims of crimes that suffer, and those guilty just laugh and profit.

Any foreigner coming here and committing a crime should be booted out.
