SIR – After two brilliant weeks in the Algarve, I was a little disillusioned to read through copies of the Worcester News that the three stooges ‘Mr Pegler, Mr Cowley and Mr Shearon’ still making a point about the state of the Government.

This is what’s known as boring.

All three parties are as bad as each other, if Labour hadn’t fiddled their income, you have to agree, others wouldn’t follow.

I’m proud too of my service – five-and-a-half years in the Army, when I was demobbed, I set out to do my bit for children’s charities and successfully donated £11,663.

Now peacefully retired, I like many other readers, have my views about the Government. So, please, until you’ve done any good for the community like I have, you will all realise, whoever runs this country won’t be beaten, so arguing is simply pointless.
