SIR – Good news for Wychavon District Council – the chance of getting its money back which was banked in Iceland.
It should never have been banked in Iceland in the first place. Money like that should have been invested for the benefit of the people of Wychavon, such as building affordable housing at reasonable rents. So if it does get its money back it should invest it for the people.
