SIR – Re: a letter from Carole Roberts (Worcester News, October 7), regarding travellers at Dale Farm.
If these people are travellers, how come they have been static for the last 10 years?
Also, she states, ‘There is plenty of room for immigrants, but not for our own people’.
I doubt very much if they are ‘our people’, judging by their accents. The citizens of Essex are ‘our people’ who have put up with this squalor for the past 10 years.
