SIR – It’s good news that the council tax will be frozen for another year.
Listening to the Tories you’d think it was all Labour’s fault that the council tax doubled in 10 years – but they don’t mention that most councils were Tory-run.
It was they who kept pushing the council tax up because they had no idea how to balance the books and awarded themselves massive salaries.
