SIR – I’m pleased to announce we’ve moved into our new Life After Stroke Centre in Bromsgrove, which will now be home to our national stroke helpline Life After Stroke services and our training team.

Much of this is thanks to the huge generosity and support from the Worcester News readers and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and everyone who helped us get here.

The Life After Stroke Centre will deliver the best possible services, support and training for stroke survivors throughout the country.

Local stroke clubs and communication support groups will meet on a weekly basis and stroke survivors can learn new computer skills in the specialist IT suite.

We still need help to make this possible. To find out how you can make a difference through fund-raising or volunteering, visit stroke.org.uk/newcentre.
