SIR – The only good thing to come out of the Budget is that George Osborne has literally cut the throats of the Conservative party at the next election.
He has betrayed the millions of hard-working Brits and basically looked after the rich and super rich.
When fuel prices desperately need to be cut, he has rejected calls to abolish the 3p a litre increase due in August, and as always, those who smoke are once again made to pay.
The people must make this two-faced party suffer at the next election.
Its leaders have shown their true colours time and again and are only interested in themselves and the rich.
The poor will get poorer under them and soon people will be working for nothing.
