SIR – I found Phil Pegler’s letter ‘Surely they knew the company rules’ (Worcester News, March 20) to be appalling.
I found it offensive that he compared the cross – a symbol of Christianity – with the Nazi swastika.
He did not mean the Indian religious use of the swastika, he clearly meant the symbol as used by the Nazi regime in the 1930/1940 era. Surely the Worcester News should not publish offensive letters such as this?
