SIR – Re the article by Alicia Kelly (Worcester News, February 27) concerning the plight of Mrs [Giuseppina] Mankowski of Albert Road, Worcester, who criticised inconsiderate drivers for trapping her inside her home.
There is a dropped kerb (supported by a white line) which signifies her right of access.
Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act gave all local authorities powers to take action where a vehicle parks alongside a dropped kerb.
In her case that is not being carried out.
When I did have a car I never parked alongside a dropped kerb as I was aware of the law.
