SIR – Perdiswell Leisure Centre is surely one of the best sites for a new swimming pool in Worcester.
However, spare a thought for local people living around the Bilford Road area.
They have told me that they have difficulty crossing Bilford Road because of the volume and speed of traffic, particularly at the junction with Astwood Road. Imagine how much more difficult this junction will be with even more traffic.
If a new swimming pool is built at Perdiswell Leisure Centre, the need to sort out this crossing point will be critical.
